China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (cippe), which is a regular gathering of oil and gas industry, has been held for 7 sessions successfully. Held in April every year, cippe has become the largest, most international and authoritative petroleum exhibition in mainland China, and also the largest petroleum show in Asia.

The 7th China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (cippe2007), which was held on April, 3-5, 2007 at Beijing Exhibition Center, got an attendance of 629 famous companies participating from 33 countries and regions around the world, 11 national pavilions including: US, GERMANY, FRANCE, RUSSIA, ITALY, UK, DENMARK, NETHERLANDS, IRAN, JAPAN, SINGAPORE, 26 exhibitors among the Fortune-listed Global Top 500 enterprises, such as GE, SIEMENS, GAZPROM, ABB, TYCO, UTC, 3M, DRESSER, HONEYWELL, EMERSON, STEWART & STEVENSON, CUMMINS POWER GENERATION, INGERSOLL RAND, ATLAS COPCO, HITACHI as well as TMEIC and also the following well-known Chinese companies such as CNOOC, CNPC DAQING PETROLEUM, LPEB, BPM, SHENGLI HIGHLAND, RG PETRO-MACHINERY, SICHUAN HONGHUA, SHANDONG KERUI, YANTAI JEREH, SJS, ZHONGCHENG MACHINERY, TIANJIN LILIN, BAO STEEL, MINGXING CABLE, WAROM GROUP, etc. Cippe has become the largest and premier petroleum and petrochemical exhibition in Asia.

Cippe2007, a great gathering for 3 days, attracted more than 30,000 professional visitors from 42 countries and about 112 Media from 37 countries and regions both at home and abroad. The satellite events involved China Oil & Gas Pipelines Summit 2007 China offshore Summit, France Offshore and Onshore Oil and Gas Advanced Technologies Seminar.

Cippe, with 31,000 square meters exhibit space, 11 nation pavilions, which takes up 45% of the total exhibit space, 629 exhibitors from 33 countries and regions around the world and 11 national pavilions, has been regarded as one of the world’s top 5 petroleum shows and the largest petroleum exhibition in Asia as well.

About 116 companies were unable to represent themselves at cippe2007 on account of the exhibit space constraint, such as SJ PETRO, ZYT PETRO, CATERPILLAR and CEEG. Also, due to the same reason, a lot of renowned international companies had limited access to the exhibit space, such as SIEMENS, GAZPROM, INGERSOLL RAND, BPM and RG. In order to ease this situation, Beijing Zhenwei will relocate cippe2008, which will run from April 7 to 9, at New China International Exhibition Center, one of the largest exhibition halls in China. It is expected that the exhibit space will attain 42,000 square meters. Till now, more than 240 enterprises have reserved their exhibit space for cippe2008.
